Last night (Friday, 8.8.08) was the official opening of the Summer Olympics, being held this year in Beijing, China. Wow, was the opening not the hands down, best Olympics opening ever? I was held, mouth agape, in utter awe during the performances, especially the Thai Chi masters running in their circular patterns. I watched the first 15 nations make it around the arena, turned away to watch “Once Upon A Time In Mexico” then turned back just in time to watch Yao Ming and the school boy march in for China.
